Costs

Legal fees in residence and asylum law matters, as well as in citizenship law, are generally governed by the German Lawyers' Remuneration Act (RVG). However, they also depend on the degree of complexity and the workload. In cases where it is foreseeable that the statutory fees under the RVG will not cover the resulting workload, I offer you the option of entering into a fee agreement. This agreement can include either a flat fee or a specific hourly rate.

The cost for an initial consultation is generally 190,- Euro plus VAT.

Legal aid

You can apply for legal aid if you cannot afford court proceedings. You must prove to the court that you cannot afford the costs. The court will examine your financial circumstances for this purpose. The court will also examine whether the court proceedings have a good chance of success and then decide whether you will receive legal aid.
